The Lee County Genealogical Society

The Lee County Genealogical Society was founded in 1994 and is dedicated to the purpose of promoting awareness of family history and helping people in their genealogical research. The society is a not-for-profit organization, relying on work by volunteers and individual donations to help pay expenses.

The "Family Tree Center" is located at 111 South Hennepin Avenue in Dixon, Illinois. The Center is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The hours vary on holiday weeks so it may be best to call and check our hours if you plan to visit (815-288-6702). Please call during open hours.

Reagan Program to be Presented

 Joan Johnson, Manager of the Reagan Birth Place in Tampico, will present a program on the Reagan Family on Monday, February 8th at 7 p.m. in the second floor conference room at KSB Hospital.  The hospital is located at 403 East First Street in Dixon. The public is welcome and refreshments will be served.   There is no admission fee and the room is handicapped accessible.  There will be staff in the lobby to direct you.  For further information, you may call the Family Tree Center at 815/288-6702 or stop by at 111 S.
